Easter

I just wanted to post a few pics and a video of Easter. Pearl was pretty funny about the Easter Eggs. She just wanted to hold one or two and shake them. She did not understand why we kept trying to get her to dump the ones she had in a basket and pick up more. If you look at it from her point of view, it does seem kind of silly, unless of course you know what's inside the eggs...

Dare

When we were in Utah last, Bry dared me to jump from a swing with him when we were watching Pearl on the playground. I was surprised at how scared I was right before doing it. I guess I've been a boring adult for a little too long and have forgotten what it's like to be risky. Even just a little risky, I mean, we're taking about jumping about 3 feet here.

Recently we took a trip to Utah and visited family. Pearl had a great time playing with great grandpa Bailey.

April Fools Success!

This April Fools I was challenged by my mom and sister to try to do something to Bry. I decided the one thing I felt like trying was cooking some weird foods for dinner. I found 2 recipes online and invented one myself, to make a dinner of "fish sticks," "banana layered pudding" and "cup cakes." Bry totally fell for it, much to my surprise. You should have seen his face!






Fish Sticks = mini Milky Way bars with toasted coconut on the outside.














Banana Layered Pudding = Pureed cauliflour with cheese and a little yellow food dye layered with crushed Ritz crackers. (My brainchild)












Pink Frosting Cupcakes = Meatloaf with dyed mashed potatoes for frosting.
