Here is a video of a recent hike that my boss and I did. Mt. Elbert is the tallest mountain in Colorado, though not the most difficult.

Antacids are a pregnant girl's best friend...
Ode to Rolaids
How I love thee
(before I overdose and want to vomit thee up)
Sugar Free Orange, Tropical, Mixed Berry, Mint, Cherry, Vanilla, and Fruit
These are thy many flavors which I have tried
Thy chalky substance
Thy exciting colors
Do temporarily soothe me at midnight
When Carl's Junior meals refuseth to digest
Although Oreo Shakes doth always taste lovely
No matter how many times they come back up...

True Friends ...
Tonight on the way home I realized that I have true friends. This realization came as I thought about the babymoon video that Nat posted. It came to me that no one has made any jabs about my pictures illustrating my skeletal structure wrapped in a swimming suit. Y'all are the best!
(of course, maybe no one has watched the video).

Finally the Babymoon as promised
OK folks, sorry for the huge delay but here is our babymoon blog as promised. We went on a cruise to the Caribbean and Bahamas for a week at the end of June/beginning of July to celebrate our last few months of non-parenthood in style. Neither of us had ever been on a cruise before but were pleasantly surprised to find that the food was great, the ports were awesome, and the sea sickness really wasn't that bad after all (after some Dramamine).
I found it to be very romantic because we were all on our own with out access to cell phones or the Internet (I highly recommend doing that sometime) and were able to just focus on each other. I fell even more deeply in love with Bry than before (please excuse the schmaltz) and we both only gained about 3 pounds. The poundage was kept down by our insane goal to never use the elevator, I say insane because we roomed on the very bottom floor and all the activities and food were between 3-9 floors above us. Being 7 months pregnant at the time, there were a few times when I decided not to snack simply because I didn't want to tackle the stairs.
We were impressed by the ship overall, but have decided to try another cruise line next time because Carnival seemed to be a bit more geared to partying than we were used to. Activities like "The Hairiest Chest Contest" were a little over the top for us.
I think the most interesting port was San Juan, Puerto Rico. We were able to take a bus tour through a rain forest and sample the old town shopping and food. Grand Turk was also an awesome place to just sit on the beach like a slug and soak up the rays while listening to the breeze through the palm trees. Half Moon Cay had the most perfect beach we had ever seen. The sand was almost the consistency of flour and almost as white. The water was clear blue and there was no coral to cut your feet on. St. Thomas offered some cool snorkeling.
I took the liberty to make a video with most of our pics from the trip. I think it's about 6 minutes long and includes some of our favorite Bob Marley songs. For some reason we both kept singing these songs all throughout the trip. I think there's something about palm trees and beaches that innately speaks of long dreadlocks and a heavy Jamaican accent...

As a side note, I purposely did not use the song "3 Little Birds" on the video (although we sung that all the time too) because I think it has been ruined by "I am Legend." Now whenever I hear it, I think of scary mutant monsters.
