Garden of the Gods

I (nat) was desperate to go camping so we decided to try a spot near Colorado Springs called Meadow Ridge near Rampart Reservoir. It was a beautiful spot once we found it in the dark and sprinkling rain at about 8:30pm. There were pine and aspen trees and wild flowers all over. The reservoir was pretty cool with a red shore, but wasn't meant for much more than fishing.

The next day we visited Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. It was beautiful to see the contrast of green grasses and bushes against read and white rocks. The pictures say it all...
This is balancing rock. Good thing Bryan is holding it up!
Rock climbers frequent the park.
Thought this was an interesting rock.
This rock formation is called "Kissing Camels."
I (Bryan) had to talk on the phone and Nat got bored. Thus we have several of these kinds of photos too.
