Pearl decided to try to ride our friend's hog, so we humored her.My sister Nickole came to visit a few weeks ago and watch Pearl over the weekend. She and Pearl had a good time girling it up by painting toe nails. On Memorial Day I entered the Boulder Boulder 10k race with some friends. Here is a "before" picture.

The race is very popular and all sorts of characters come out to run.
The neighborhood spectators have fun with the race. This person set up a slip and slide in their front yard. There were lots of others who were passing out food, bellydancing, cheerleading, etc. It was great fun!

Our 7th Anniversary

For our 7th anniversary I took Nat to Canon City, CO. The main purpose was to go white water rafting the Royal Gorge, which was amazing. You can use the link below to see pictures of our rafting adventure, which was awesome.

The night before rafting the city was having a little "sock hop" in the town center. We went down to enjoy the festivities and Nat ended up taking first place in a Hula Hoop contest and second place in a Karaoke contest. I didn't get a video of the Hula Hooping, but here is a video of her singing Unchained Melody for me.

A Mother's Day song for Grandma Bailey

Calf 5. Pearl 0.

Over Easter we went back to Utah. We tried to go to baby animal day at the Jensen Historic Farm, but it was packed. It was the first time where Nat and I were super excited about going somewhere just to see how Pearl would react. The crowds detered us from going. That said, a buddy, Joel Jensen, has a little calf at his place, so we took her there instead. Turns out that it was a good thing that we didn't make it into the historic farm.
